Player detected as ADFU device and not allocated as F:drive
Please help me I have this problem after doing the firmware upgrade using/trying different firmwares, my player becomes dead now.Even backlight is off. When plugged in the computer it is only seen as ADFU device and not seen under my Drive F.I cannot upgrade it anymore as it is not recognized as F:
Please help me what to do now?I think my player's getting worse.   |
Re: Player detected as ADFU device and not allocated as F:d
What you get is what you should, when the player is in firmware recovery mode it is no longer recognized as a drive but as a ADFU device, that means it's ready to accept any firmware, however you should check the dead player recovery guide here.
Don't worry if the player is completely different from yours, the basic chips are the same in almost every player |
Thanks a lot for the reply.I will try doing the recovery mode, because i cannot access the MP3 Utility 4.05/MP3 Player Upgrade Tool. When i plug my player, it says "Device not Detected".So i think im gonna try the recovery mode.
Anyway, if you know any firmware for me please let me know.It is GOLZI G-18A_MAIN_VO.6.I cant find compatible firmware for me. Please anybody who had the same player as mine. |
Re: Player detected as ADFU device and not allocated as F:d
Another Golzi? Those are getting popular here... find someone else with one and get them to extract their firmware with s1res v4.0. Make sure you get one with the same display.

Can i try s1fwx extraction using my own player? Please help me out during the process.I really need your help.

Well, you can, but if your player is dead you won't get far with that, because the fact that it is dead already tells you that the firmware (or the lack of it) is the issue, if you manage to extract anything, it just won't work, besides, if remember correctly, s1fwx won't work on a dead player. You'd better open the thing up and get the chip and board numbers to find a compatible firmware.
Good Luck!!! |
