Lolita, you cleared my mind!!!

I'll start to check the info and schematics to find the way to write to the OLED color display on a v9 device.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Vjail

Default i'm back!!!

Hi everybody!!!

I don't know if somebody is still interested in this kind of devices, but i'll put in this thread all i've discovered since last Time:

1.- I download the source code of firmwares from this post:
FULL firmware 9.1.51 (ACU7515) - HELP !!! I need it

This is the Rapidshare links:
ACU7515_9_1_51_NODRM_20070329.rar
ACU7515_9_1_51_DRM_20070329.rar

2.- I found the compiler for this sources, is the IAR Embedded Workbench for Zilog Z80 (the version must be previous to 4.06a because if i try to open any *.prj file the program gives me this message "
The project file is in an old format, Convert it for use with this version?")

4.- I can't Make any project because i always have the same error in ap_common.c file:
d:\case_i_d912f\ap\common\ap_common.c (62) : Error[128]: Function argument incompatible with its declaration
d:\case_i_d912f\ap\common\ap_common.c (97) : Error[128]: Function argument incompatible with its declaration

5.- I try to use the *.ap files already compiled from the source code with my ak1025 and a acu7515 i've just buy (to test) but doesn't work (clocks appears forever, i recovered using s1clone and previous backups), maybe the problem is the version of the firmware (the sources are 9.1.51 and both players are 9.1.52)

I stop at this point, i try many many things like to put any kind of file in the fwimage.fw (inclusive a renamed copy of UI30.RES) but the same, just the sandclock appears. the only file i could put in the firmware and the player starts normally is the s1first test from s1mp3.de renames as record.ap, but if i try to use the record i got a black screen.

I found in this page a firmware called case_i_d915f (inclusive a case_i_d915f from 20090617), appears that this is more recent and with many others exe files we can use, but this page only show the list of files they sell in a big package (26 DVDs) for about US$ 100 (the price is not the problem, but i think itīs scam, you pay and never receive something). If somebody has this new firmware (and wants to share ), please go ahead!!!

mp3 player firmware DVD Directory listing 24 - FAQ - mp3 player firmware discuss mobilephone repair - Powered by skmp3!

More details about i'll discover will be put in this blog: MP4-Dev | Programando sobre uno de esos MP4 chinos <i>(Proggraming on those chinapods)</i>, every post is in spanish (my natural language) and then in english (in the same page). Also i'll put the progress in this forum to still has the contact with all of you.

If somebody wants to continue playing with this amazing but misterious device, can contact me in vjail@hotmail.com.

Regards World!!!
