Deaf Mp4 Player

I have a player! One time I charged it and I forgot! When i see it! I see a smoke coming from my player and its not usable It cant even recognize by the computer! But one time! I try to open it with my classmate Laptop! the message appear the device is not recognize because it has a malfunctioned! My question is there any way to fix this! I already assemble it! And I found the firmware! But when i try to run in ADFU! Nothings happen! I better throw it! any other idea! PLEASE HELP ME!

Looks like you let out the magic smoke.

That's something you're not going to be able to fix with firmware.

I better Throw it! Thanks a Lot! At least it teach me a lot not to overcharged my mp4! and what is the used of the firmware!

Hi peterjohn1111,

Does your player have any life in it at all?
Can you turn it on etc and play music from it? Or is it completely dead?

If it's smoke, I'm guessing you may have fried the board on your player. If that happens, that's a physical hardware problem that firmware (software) can't fix.

If it's in warranty, you should try to get it replaced under warranty from the seller.

When I pressed the power button! The light indicator light up! but it didn't turn on! Only Black Screen! I tried to charged with computer it disn't charged! it on;y charged in the one with the circle charger! When i tried the ADFu! The computer says that Device is not recognize! what does it mean! it dont have a warranty!
