Working and then dead players and then working again?
 

Hello,

I'm new to this great site and find it to be very helpful but I need your help!

I have imported 2 Onda clones 8gb VX 747 and they are having the same problem. They are the Rock chip RK2706 from looking at the chip inside .

I put them on charge for 4 hours and then went to test them with a video for a hour (both at the same time) and they were working ok. Then i switched them off and went my everyday business. I went to use one of the players to find it would not switch on. I plugged the player in to see if it had ran out of battery and still no life, I tried plugging into the computer and still no sign of life or any USB detection. So i tried resetting the player using the reset button on the side and still nothing.

So i tried the other player and this one WAS THE SAME!!!!

I then left both of the players on the side and again went on my everyday business. I tried again with the players a couple of hours later to find they were working again.....

So i backed up and updated firmware tested and seemed to be ok (with both). Think it was 36216

Tested with a film and all seemed to be ok. Switched off and on and all ok for around a couple of hours. Left on charge till fully charged and switched off. Left the players for a hour and again they both would not come on with the charger plugged in or plugged into a computer. No detection from the computer or any errors showing in device manager or anything.....

I was thinking battery but checked it with voltmeter and seems a good flow of around 3 - 3.7 volts is going through fine.

Any ideas people????????????
