Corrupt flash memory Rockchip

I bought an 8gb mp4 player and when i hook it up to the computer it says rockchip usb mp3. I started to upload music to it but my computer shut down half way through. Now when i plug it in and drive to access the drive, my computer freezes and will not allow me to reformat the drive. On the mp3 player when i go to files it gives me o+o+o+, etc on every line for the hard drive for folder names, there is nothing in the folders.

If I try to record something it says disk is full.

I need a way to reformat this drive and clear out whats on there. I tried using the disk manager that came on the cd that came with it but it says it can't detect my drive although in my computer it shows up as the F drive (it just freezes the computer when trying to open or right click)

Any ideas?
