Wilson Co. LTD Version 9.1.52 Xintai Mp4 Player XTD_1312_10

mp3 player pics

I tried to update the firmware because the player was sold as having 4GB, but was only a 1 GB player. It couldn't keep track of song order and sometimes it would lose info, so I thought maybe flashing the firmware would work.

Now it just comes on and flashes. I've tried the revive MP3 player walkthrough and it does not help. I've run tweezers down the side of the chip and it seems to do nothing.

The board says KJT25030V10
2007.05.10

Any info or help would be appreciated. A link to the correct Firmware would also be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Get it into hard ADFU mode and give these firmware a try:

Thank you lolita.

Unfortunately I think the unit is now fried. I can't even get it to flash anymore.

While trying to get it into ADFU mode I think I fried the board by running tweezers down the side of the chip too many times.

It only cost me $20 bucks so I'll just trash it and next time buy namebrand instead of going for a good deal online.

4 gigs for $20 proves the old addage: if the deal is too good to be true it probably isn't.

HY27UV08BG5A is a real 4GB flash.

You need to keep the data pins of the flash shorted while powering it on via USB. It will become detected as ADFU device if you do that.

Re: Wilson Co. LTD Version 9.1.52 Xintai Mp4 Player XTD_1312

MP3 Player Utilities detected it as being only one gig. So now I'm confused.

I got the drive recognized as an ADFU device, but the first firmware I tried was incorrect so I tried the process again (and again, and again)

Anyways while trying the "short the flash while powering on the USB" trick I believe the board burned out. It does not power on anymore when I connect it and the computer does not recognize it.

I need help with this junk

I brought one of these fake itouch players from ebay for $33 and after 2 days of using it and messing with the feature's this MP4 player stopped working. I sent a message back to the seller but he says he is not reponsible for firmware. As he has taken my money and also buyer protection has passed, I am left with this junk. I have scoured the net for forums so Im glad I found one like this.

My player turns on but I cant add any music or anything because I checked the system button and it says there is No memory at all, no flash or internal memory. Is there any way someone can help me? I am not tech savvy so any help with even getting a little service out of these players will be appreciated

Regards

Sham
