AK2025 FW ver 9.5.54 Disk Error

Hi Have found the portion of the disk that contains 4 different files.. It won't let me take them off the disk so I can't upload it..

I'll translate what they look like the best way I can..
The O are square shaped on the actual file..Chinese of course..

Ontldr (file) 1,907,657 kb
AOOO{AOO (file) 965,345 kb
iOeV$OOa.arO (ARO file) 3,850,267 KB
0'<E'MSDOS.5.0 (0 file) 1kb

This or part of it has to be the firmware..but for some reason I can't extract it..

I thought I already said to use s1res v4.1, s1fwx is obsolete especially when you're working with such a new device.

You said use s1res , but I didn't see anything there for firmware extraction..

s1res v4.1 is nowhere to be found on this site..do you have a direct link?? & instructions on how to use it. sorry for the trouble..

Ok..using s1res I get error messages.. Either it says can't read from device or the semaphore timeout period has expired.

any ideas?

"semaphore timeout period has expired" --- try another computer.

Preferably one with only USB 1.1 ports, it's more reliable at the slower speed.
