Crashed Rockchip Rk2608a
 

Hello everybody! I'm new here and was wondering if one of you could help me? I have a an "i don't what brand 16GB 2.8" mp4 player(it has the "mini mp4 player" startup and the "goodbye" shutdown)". i just got it a few days ago and what happened was i loaded music on it from a friends laptop(about 4.5gb worth)and when it said it was done i unplugged it an tried to use it. for some reason it would only play about 66 of the songs on it. if i tried any of the others, it would just lock up and i would have to hit the reset button. After several times of that, i plugged it into my desktop, and it then only read it as 8gb. i formatted it and tried to load some more but i when unplugged it and turned it on, it just froze on the startup screen. i hit the reset button and tried again but to no avail. i did some research and found this

so far all of the firmware i have tried will come up but are upside down, mirrored, and no touch pad.

Rockchip Rk2608a
(what once was 16gb but now reads as 8gb) Dynet d27ucg8vfmtr memory

this model doesn't have a camera.

I have almost the same problem as you. Can't find functional firmware for my 2608a model which is almost the same as yours (has Spectek memory expansion). Already gone through about 25 different wares, but...
