Bricked YP-Z5F needs help.

Hi!

Unfortunately I've formatted my YP-Z5F to NTFS today and now it won't do anything besides I can put the device on HOLD position (the lock sign shows up) or just the the SAMSUNG logo simply shows up doing nothing.

I tried to put the device to UMS mode by pressing the "BACKWARDS" button while connecting it to the computer, but no I had no luck. Resetting the device only really resets it. I only can restart the whole procedure with it.

Also, I managed to put the device into "Player Recovery Device Class" state, but if I tried to flash, or update the player's firmware (with anything, or with the appropriate one), the software says it was "Unable to write firmware file data."

I'm running out of ideas, besides it would be adequate if I could somehow low-format the player's flash memory. Oh, and I managed to disassemble the device, tried to short circuit the pins, but it's no use.

Do somebody has any idea how could I revive my player?

Thanks,
rocket

Format it back to FAT32.

Thanks, that's the best idea I could ever come up with. :-)
But, please tell me how I can do that, I can't manage the device to get recognized as a regular SCSI device via USB.

I plug the cable into the device. Connecting the USB cable to the PC does nothing. All I can do is pressing the SELECT button to set the device in Recovery Mode.

Can you help me?
Thanks.
