Getting the White Screen of Death
Hi, check out the photo of this mp4 player. I found this picture on the web and resized it to meet mympx requirements. I have the exact same player that my wife found on the bus, but my player's screen is completely white. I am able to access the memory from windows xp home edition, but their are no setup files or other indications of the players' type, just music files. I have tried to upgrade the firmware, but haven't had any luck finding the proper firmware. Can anyone help me identify the proper firmware, or at least the manufacturer. I opened the case and it has a rockchip 2608a inside as well as two samsung chips(which I believe is the flash memory). Windows originally said that the player has 16GB of space, but after I upgraded(downgraded?) the firmware, it now only states that it has 8. Any help would be appreciated!
