Anyka chip

It is based on the Anyka chip - I have a very similar one (TV1F568_V2.0 - has camera) and I've yet to find a way of accessing the firmware. I can get it to boot in maintenance mode but I can't find any USB driver that works with it when in this mode.

I've received today one like this, 16gb, and haven't tried to update firmware and I won't do it anyway.
The problem I don't want to know if I have it, is if this player really have 16 GB.

Easiest way is to pop the back off (remove the two screws on the bottom) peel the battery off and have a look at the printing on the NAND chip(s) - enter the string of characters into google to find out how big the part is. Remeber that 16Gigabits is only 2Gigabytes.

Then follow our glorious leaders thread on removing the hack if it is indeed a hacked player
