[solved] 32GB PMP Slide Panel hangs on Welcome Screen

Hi,
I bough a 32GB Mp3 of ebay. Below is the exact link to the product.

32GB 2.8" Touch Screen DV MP3 MP4 Player 32G FM Camera on eBay (end time 11-Oct-09 17:20:01 BST)

I have somehow managed to hang at Welcome screen, i tried drainning the battery, but still stuck at the screen when connected to USB charge. I cannot connect it to the computer either. I can provide extra pictures if needed.

This thread can be locked now i have managed to fix the MP4 player now, if anyone needs help fixing the same model feel free to contact me. BTW these models are hacked memory its only 4GB or less, capable.

Yes i am more than happy to let you know.

1. Completely Turn Off MP4 (FROM RESET BUTTON IF POSSIBLE)
2. HOLD + BUTTON AND CONNECT USB TO COMPUTER
3. WAIT FOR CONNECTION...
4. GO TO H: DRIVE BACKUP ALL THE DATA FROM THERE TO YOUR COMPUTER.
5. DISCONNECT YOUR MP4
6. OPEN MP4 PLAYER AND DISCONNECT ONE OF THE BATTERY WIRES.
7. CONNECT TO CHARGER AND LET IT POWER UP. (ONLY WHITE SCREEN THIS IS NORMAL AT THIS STAGE)
8. RECONNECT THE MP4 PLAYER TO THE COMPUTER AND COPY THEM FILES BACKOVER TO H: DRIVE
9. SOLDER THE BATTERY WIRE BACK.
10. ITS HOPEFULLY RESURRECTED
