YINLIPS YDP113 died the same day I received it. How sad is that?

It was not a problem of unsafe USB device removal.
I have a few S1-MP3 and MP4 players, etc. and this never happened before.
Story: I received it. Player was OK, good sound quality, good video quality, etc. All in english, good english menus.
A few hours later I switched on the player and noticed everything was in chinese (and I didn't change it...)
I thought "well, no problem", and a few minutes later I found the language settings menu (I know nothing about chinese
language) and blindly trying I switched back to all-in-english. This happened a few times, player always setting
itself back to chinese language, and I thought... what is that RESET option on the settings menu? perhaps a
"RETURN TO FACTORY SETTINGS" option... why not try it... it might solve that problem. Well, I selected the RESET
option on the menu. Guess what... player switched off itself, and 3 seconds later switched on itself, but FROZEN
ON WELCOME SCREEN. I removed the battery, switched on again,... but...
Always the same, player lights up but it gets frozen on the welcome screen.
Not detected by Windows XP when connected via USB. Nothing. DEAD.
I tried on different computers, etc. Nothing. DEAD. Frozen on welcome screen (globe screen).
DEAD! DEAD! DEAD!
Later in that day, I decided to try the Samsung SHORT-CIRCUIT procedure... OMG... I don't know if i fried
the Samsung thing or what, but Windows XP detected "something" on the USB... it seems the ADFU thing worked...
Player is NOW detected by Windows XP as USB 2.0 ADFU DEVICE...
And... if you visit
Code:
www.yinlips.com/en/productdetail.asp?ID=123
... it says "ADFU supported"
But... the XP program in the CD that came with the player is not detecting the player
in ADFU mode, now what?
How do I contact YINLIPS.COM tech support team? they don't provide firmware for my player
in their downloads page... how sad is that?
And, of course, YINLIPS is ignoring my emails.
************** Please help me find the FULL firmware for this YINLIPS YDP-113 MP4 player **************
(a firmware dump from your player will not work)
MyMPX.org is very good, and THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME VENT MY FRUSTRATION.
