Hello, I hope someone can help.my daughter bought a chinese MP4 player off ebay,
it has a RK2608c chip and worked fine untill her boy friend tryed to flash the firmware and now nothing ,
it wont turn on at all.it came with a software cd so i tryed to flash the firmware,
but the program cant find the device.my device manager see's it as "rockusb device"
so why doesnt the program see it.the program is called"FWISP.exe"
any help would be great.

I had the same problem as you had: after a flash with the wrong firmware the player would not turn on at all.
You can try the enclosed firmware update program "Product Tool No Dog 3.2.0.5" enclosed in this file: http://www.oem-drivers.com/wp-conten...ct%20tools.rar
This program successfully flashed my RK2698C chip. Also a firmware is included (.rfw) in the download.
