Default Expand memory for mp4 player ipod nano clone

Tutorial help to expand the memory of the MP4 ipod nano clone 4tha generation with 128MB memory, chip AK2025 and has input to another Nand Flash Memory.
My question is:
To put the Nand Flash, mp4 to recognize and work directly, or you need to update the firmware

I added another 2gb flash chip to mine seeing it was only a 256mb (sold as a 16gb!!!!!)..the unit does not c it ..or it could be because of the trick they are using to corrupt the size of the 256mb that its not letting it use it.. So either new firmware is needed or dunno lol.. the other problem is the lid wont go back on because the speaker will not go back into the cut out..

It would be nice if we can get it to work..because I just took the chip off A 8gb thumb drive.. it had 4 2gb chips.. and u can get them at walmart for 12 buxs ish
... I'm thinking I might have to take off the 256 chip and dump it then copy the information to a 2gb chip so I can at least get away from the 256mb

here is a picture of the chip added ..and as u can c by the speaker it wont go back..why I didnt think of that before hand who knows lol

the only thing I really find about the chip is its 2gb(256mb) the one on the left in the picture..I could be wrong and it really is 2gb but I dont think so ..cause when i format the disk it only lets me go up to 16112 = 249mb

Added a Switch to ce and got some weird stuff going on .. tonz of chines text and folders ect.( and its not just it going into that language mode tonz of diff folders... duno what all that was about ..but now I'm
almost at A point of dumping the chip .. If it does dump I'll upload it here it will be full dump 9.5.54... so hopefully we can strip out the firmware update out of it .... If you never hear back from me that means I killed my good working ipod nano clone in the means of testing lol..
