I'va got a problem... The LCD screen is stuck on the motherboard...

The LCD screen is stuck on the main board... I can see a part of the fpc which relies the main board to the buttons of the mp4 but it doesn't have any number on...

We can try to figure out LCM controller by software probe. First we will establish backlight connectivity.

Download and run s1giveio1.4:
http://rapidshare.com/files/209057470/s1giveio14.zip

Issue the following commands, excluding the comment (starting at the comma and until the end of the line):
Code:
o ee 4 ; this should turn the backlight on
o ee 0 ; and this line should turn it off
Issue 'q' to quit.

Post your results. If backlight is on A2, you should be able to turn it on and off with the above two commands.

Sorry for not having replyed, but the motherboard of my computer died...
I'll test it in the next few days, sorry again.
