Is this player considered dead?

Well I updated my MP4 Player's Firmware which is
ACT2097_S72_1
2006/04/25
9.0.50
2006/10/30

into this one Download

The MP3 Player Update Tool said it was success and then my player restarted
and was detected again by the computer... but my problem is that I can only see
black screen on my MP4....I can't use it because I can't see anything
But still the computer can detect it

And also.... when I tried changing it to other firmware... the MP3 Player Update Tool
says successful again but then still nothing happened.... I mean nothing changed..
It was still it!!

Please help me!!!

That's what happens if you don't MAKE COMPLETELY SURE you are using a firmware designed for your specific device. Open it up and find board ID, CPU, and LCM part#, post that here.

You will also have to force HARD ADFU MODE in order to reload firmware. Read DEAD PLAYER RECOVERY GUIDE.

Well here is what is written on the black square chip thing

SAMSUNG 643
K9G8GO8UOM
PCB0
FEJ184####

and I guess it is ATJ2091 and 1.5 Inch

The #### is being blocked by a sticker and I cannot see what is within it... is it important too?

Edit -
Computer was now able to detect it as an ADFU and now on it's recovery mode
Please help me with the firmware.... I need the correct firmware for my MP4
THanks!!

Edit -
I updated the firmware into this one http://mympxplayer.org/full-firmware...043-df454.html and my mp4 now shows a purple like pink color.... But still can't use it.. there are nothing on the screen.. just a color.. so what is now the problem?
