i have a problem with an exact model like the one underneath

16GB 2.8" Touch Screen MP3 MP4 VIDEO PLAYER 3.0M Camera on eBay (end time 09-Jun-10 18:19:36 BST)

when it arrived it was fine.. i was still ignorant about the fact of hacked memory and stuff. put something around 4 gig of mp3s in it and it was fine.. till i took some pictures with it. it started to tell promt me with a "format error".

next time i tried to switch it on it started to freeze on the welcome screen. no matter how much times i tried to reset it it would still remain stuck on the welcome screen.

i tried to short the flash memory like someone suggested in the forum. it does switch off and on again.. but still it remains frozen on the welcome screen. and obviously the computer is not detecting it.

is there anything i could try?

any idea of what firmware does it use just in case i manage to short it properly?

in the meantime i manged to short it correctly.. and my pc is detecting an "unknown usb device".. i tried installing it with some afdu server drivers i found on the internet but it is telling me that these drivers are not good for this device and fails installing.

can you kindly point me toward another set of drivers? maybe more recent or anything.. at this point i'm really stuck.

I bought the same device. I now regret. Device's audio recording system does not work. Camera draws too dark. For lack of a manual with a lot of trial and error I found. To charge the device must be in working order. Device is connected to the computer system is created in the folder of the drive to copy files into the fear. This is very important.
