My MP4 suddenly died, it now says it is only ADFU device. I tried everything I had as a firmware nothing accepts (?) says it can not write.

When I bought it I made a backup unfortunately it is not full and I keep it under the name ACT_V3_5_37__2006_6_3__NO5.bin

I do not know why I named it like this. I do not rememer. I hope it is the correct bin for it as I bought five of them

Please look at the photos I would need to know what it is. I can not open it any more as I glued it when I changed microphone :-))

The full FW would be excellent!

thank you!

You need to post CPU and board ID.

I attached message I get during unsuccessful upgrade. Is this caused by wrong firmware or by destroyed hardware?

I get this message after about half of the bargraph recovery is active /after pressing Recovery Firmware button/

Does not it write because of wrong flash inside? ADFU device is standalone chip. I believe so it would always present.
I tried deliberately upgrade incorrect software, but I can not in get out of ADFU mode!

DOES NOT EXIST ANY SOFTWARE TO TEST HARDWARE OF THE MP4? I mean, the ADFU device has got connected FLASH memory externally.
I want to test if FLASH is working.

thanx

I found one of the firmwares that gives different message, see attached. Is really FLASH dead?

YES THE FLASH WAS DEAD!

Guys, everything I must do by myself? :D

I replaced the flash from sd card and put it inside mp4......

I have a windows azure deployment (a web-role) that on request pulls in a pair of video files (mov and mp4) from azure storage into it's own local IIS storage, which I then access through the browser.
