Unhappy How do I figure out that the serial numbers are?

Hi Folks,

I have taken apart my MP4 player and had a look at the inside to get all the numbers/letters out (much to my wife's disgust, no faith at all!) And I have found:

Chip
ATJ2237T, ZB3KAC C41 - now i figured out it's an Action chip and that the next number is the serial number.

Camera
BS3403A - I have seen this number elsewhere in another post/thread/forum, so i think it's correct.

Board (had the name BKEESTAR on it)
BP128_V8.1
2009-1222ye
1017

LCD
SX2.8-CPT-3225A
20100531 (LDH)

It loads to the main screen, is recognised by the computer and opens it's window. the MP4 then refuses to take any commands, and after 10 seconds goes white and disconnects from the computer. WAAAAA! I have installed MP3 player upgrade tool, but nothing shows up and there are new files to upgrade to. Where do I get them from?

Thanks for your Help.
