Need help indefying meizu clone and firmware

Hello all.
I'm pretty new, noob and ugly. You warned. I own a player that appears to be a clone of the legendary Meizu M6. It won't turn on anymore, so I may need something to recover it. The screen only flash for second. I don't have a lot information to provide, only the user manual says "mover" on the front. Still I now just opened the player. Looks it's based on the RK2706 Rockchip. The screen size is 2,4 inch. The player got screws on the sides. The USB is place at the bottom of player as well you find SD/MMC slot for expansion. It has a On/Off on the top that I think basically cut off the battery. Jack and microphone can be found on the right side and one speaker on the back. I have take some pictures of the player and the rockchip. Also I shoot the firmware upgrade steps from the manual. The player does show up fine on my computer with two removable drives. The one got pretty low memory, probably means it has "hacked" memory? |

Might not be hacked, small partition is probably firmware partition.
Look here for more info:- http://mympx.org/forum/mods-themes/4...s-players.html where did you get the player btw? I am looking to buy another Rk2706 player to use with the SDK source. |

I'm posting full specs along with images of more components.
Also found one similar thread: :) http://mympx.org/forum/dead-players/...-firmware.html Pretty sure now the memory isn't hacked, because disc manager in Windows don't show any hidden partition. The storage memory is just 2GB instead of 8GB. Okay, I now did a bit investigation here on my own and did a very terrible good thing. LOL Please take a look at attachement. :D
YES!! IT'S ALIVE, I'TS ALIVE! THE DAMN BRICK IS ALIVE!! Thanks to PCB and rockchip numbers and I managed to find a proper firmware here Most everything works now, only it tends miss showing English characters, but it's just one bug of many I guess. It also doesn't work with win 7 anymore, but on XP it's just fine. This forum is great, even with small help coming. Without this place I wouldn't have make this far. Thanks! |

My originally plan was to sell this thing if it wasn't dead. Now the player works again and I can go on with my plan. If you still looking, I'm willing to send it to you with goodies for a good price. If others are interested, you are welcome too. Please pm me. |
