Default MitoneMITMP22 4GB dead: Do I need to replace system folders & files?

Strange, one day it would not turn on even though I thought it was charged. Connected to the pc, no sign of life on the screen. This device also has slot for memory card. The device comes up on explorer menu as Removable Disk (G and Removable Disk (H). There is no momory card in the device. Error message for G: "G is not acessible. This volume does not contain a recognized file system, etc." and "You need to format the dis in drive G before you can use it. Properties: No free space. Capacity: 0. H has 3.4MB free space and is filled with music folders. The system folders that I used to see have disappeared. I doubt that I trashed them by mistake.

Otherwise, the device manager reports that the disks are working properly.

Apparently, the driver is Rock usb.

Mitone is apparently non-existent and Capio, who sells Mitone at duty free shops in airports is hopeless as far as getting any help.

Have searched extensively on Internet and forums. Many people reporting similar problems with Mitone.

Please help. I enjoyed this player while it worked and hope to get it up and running again. Thanks!
