MP4 8GB micro SD (ATJ 2117) dead
 

Hello, is my first post in this forum, i researched in myMPx forum's but don't found informations about my player.
My problem started when i could not save files to the internal memory, tryed use "format" command of windows7, this was my first error :mad:.
After my player can't change the volume, locked 0 level, but the firmware was still running.
I dumped my firmware ,using s1fwx 3.3, but i could not send right back to the player.
I decided send another firmware, this was last error :(, then my player died, the Windows recognized as ADFU.
Informations about my player.

Chipset: ATJ 2117
Memory: PF415 SS 1238
Number on main board: K1766KEY OUT 0117
Fimware: 2011/11/02 1.0.04 2011/03/07 AS211A_V1003

I have datasheet, about AK2117, i think we are similar.

Hello all

I dumped the memory of my other live MP4 (look like this with same board and chip, i have two units) :)
But i can't send right back for dead MP4.
I used for dump, s1fwx 3.3, and Media Produc Tool 5.39 for upload.
My firmware can be downloaded, on link below:

I changed the internal memory for K9F4G08U0A (512MB, i don't have other), maybe the original memory has a problem.:mad:

Below the FULL firmware, but the display it's not good :confused:, has flickers and bugs, but i can use as USB DISK :p;), i tryed use the MP3 function it's work.

My MP4 after update, the screen doesn't work properly, with this firmware.
Someone can edit this firmware or have any idea how to do, please?

At this moment it was playing music (MP3 function).

I have other firmwares, the version 1.0.02 and 1.0.04, but the display don't work properly :mad:, but using the last one firmware the radio work. :D

leyendo un poco este post me pregunto si se puede usar este firmware en ak2117 ya q mi mp4 quedo en loading y de alli no pasa. otra cosa es q no puedo conseguir
los drive para este mp4. windows me reconoce cuando lo conecto pero me pide los driver si alguien me puede ayudar. se lo voy a agradecer mucho

Try only if your MP4 is dead
 

You can try the "Upgrade" your MP4.
I tested different firmwares, this is what works, only as "usb flash disk".

¡Atención
Try only if your MP4 is dead (ADFU mode).

Check the following:
modo normal VID 10D6, PID 1101.
modo ADFU VID 10D6, PID 10D6.

This ensures that the "Mass Product Tool" has communication with your MP4

Search on google or click here "Media Player Product Tool 5.39" , within this program are the drives and Upgrade tool, "Mass Product Tool".
