Hi s1fw, sorry to bother you again. I did try to find a firmware for my player on s1mp3.net, searching by Chip, Plate No., Screen No. and so on...even in the chineese section of the site. The link you sent me for "b631" plate number is for an ATJ2085 chip....I flashed it on my player (ATJ2097N) but didn't work. So I ask you one more time PLEEEEEASE try to find something that would work on my mp4. I'll give you the numbers again:
Control: ATJ2097N
Plate No.: TCH B631 V4
Screen No.: LM779A01-1A or LY-A1-070910-39609

Even it's a "no name" product, I found one witch looks exactly the same (and has the same numbers), produced by SungWorld Electronics, but the firmware that they provided on their site didn't work.

My Glacier clone has the following:

AK1022 processor (which I think is a clone copy of an Actions processor)
Samsung 1GB flash chip (K9G8G0...)
ZX-923M-TLS V2.0 2007.03.27 is main board i/d.
DMT0104FPC-A1 0726 is display (2 inch screen)
- other screen display i/d number is DMT0104BL - 20 - 3P - A SG070712 N0707 - 01 - 08, written on edge of screeen

I have gone to s1mp3.net (the chinese site NOT the s1mp3.net/en one and done a search using the term 923M and there are 2 results but I cannot get at them - it says I need to be logged on. Can anyone get at these firmwares and post them somewhere?

Many thanks for this. I had big hopes but unfortunately they don't work with my player even though the ZX923M matches. Maybe it is the processor that is different. I will need to keep looking.

Hi s1fw, thanks very much for your reply. I think that's the firmware from the producer's site (SungWorld)....I tried it anyway....doesn't work. I think it's because it's for b631 V1.1, mine is b631 v4...I just don't know anymore. I'll be patient and hope you'll continue to help me. Thanx again very very much

When you say it "doesn't work", you mean it uploads to your player ok but still gives you the blue/white screen?

Or it fails on uploading to your player?

I can get at some on http://www.s1mp3.net/ , but they are not an exact match for my board number "ESR013-YD093"

I did find one which worked, but it had no FM radio, I couldn't get at the others as the site asked for a password. :?

I don't really need a firmware for my player (I already have a backup which works), I just want to go through the procedure in order to help others with dead players. :wink:

I need your help, i want to know if is possible mod imagens in fw actions with some tools or soft? i find one (in www.en.s1mp3.net) but doesn't open the fw, there is another? in www.s1mp3.net there is a file call ActionsTools.rar maybe is a tool to mod fw and others tools. thanks for all your help

I have some difficulties to find the good firmware since I did not find the PLATE number nor the Screen number. I enter the ATJ2093H directory but then I don't know which one to pick

i searched the site (en.s1mp3.net) but didn't find a firmware that work for my mp3 player.
I even downloaded every firmware under ak1025 but didn't have one that work :(

There were 2 firmware files kindly provided by s1fw.
The first uploaded to the player ok, but just gave the white screen. The second seemed to upload ok, (according to the upgrade tool) but obviously did not work as it gave a white screen and also needed flash chip pin shorting to get it to ADFU mode. I then restored it with the "best fit" firmware I've found, a 9.0.48 version which gives me a flashing/odd screen but no photos/movies, but otherwise some function. Hopefully one day I'll find one that works properly!

Thanks for the help, the Rockchip firmwares are good, but none had the FM radio option, which most players have.

I even tried it with different versions of firmware upgrade tool and here are the messages that i got:

I opened the firmware with FirmwareModify tool, and changed the battery type from : 1.5 alkaline battery to 3.6 Li-polymer battery - but nothing changes, i got the same messages :(

Hey guys, I'm still trying to find a suitable firmware for my mp4: C203, 2 Gb, 2"TFT
Control: ATJ2097N
Plate No.:TCH B631 V4
Screen No.: LM779A01-1A or LY-A1-070910-39609

I beleve it's original firmware was 9.0.48 (not sure). When I flash any of 9.1.52 versions, it works as a usb disk (only with 9.1.52). I tried loads of 9.0.48 versions but the screen remains white and the player is in adfu mode. I don't know what to do anymore.

Please, if anybody finds something I'll be gratefull.

This codes are behind the display (that was sticked by glue :roll: )

On your english server I've found this two firmware for ak1025
that are similar to my code but not the same

But the upgrade tool exit with error saying that are not the same format of the previous firmware (that it cannot recognize... :?: )

If I do the search by SCC91-002
that's the exact code of my player
the site return me just some firmware for atj chips

Could you look in the chinese site for the exact firmware of my player?

Javier4, try to delete the Chinese characters in the name of the files (not the .fw extension), and the upgrade tools will recognize them.

my mp4 is an actions chip 2091n board:QY-793FV2 and screen 1.8". there are 3 FW in the web but all of them is for mp4 1.5" i want to know if i can use another firmware to this board? what is this FW?
i have a FW original and full, do you want to upload to your web?

Hi s1fw, I found something more about the firmware I need. I asked the seller to look in the menu of the mp4 (same as mine) at the version, and he answered!!!! The version is B631N2V3.1 2007/07/04 Pleeeeeease try to help me!!! Thanks
