Firmware upgrader for samsung k9l8g08u0a

hi, i'm a newbie here, i have a player with samsung k9l8g08u0a firmware, it has 4gb capacity, but the files are corrupt when i put large amount of (movie) file.... can anyone help me please.......

Hi Kewlot,
Samsung k9l8g08u0a is memory chip of your player and k9l8g08u0a shows that is 1GB not 4GB. Please read thread How To: Removing Memory Hack

hi unsal, thanks for d reply, it really worked... now i know infos from this forum.informative....

but i have 1 problem, i have usb 2.0 flash drive with the same firmware... i tried the tool but it didn't work... is there any tool for usb drive to remove the hack tool?

Hi Kewlot,
there is a tool to format usb disks having iCreate controller chip. Its name and version is iFormat ver 1.32. I think your usb has a iCreate chip because it is easy to hack it. If you can find that tool, try it. if you can not, inform me so that I can send you later.

hi unsal, my usb is named sony, but i think its made in china,a fake one, it has microvault label outside, but when i downloaded the utility from sony, it doesn't work right, so it's a fake. coz of that stupid hack, 4gb but it's the same as my mp3 player, after i put files on it with more than 1gb loads of files, it's file corrupt... i guess it's 1gb only.. so i decided to open a partition manager and resize my usb drive to 1gb only. that's all. working fine.
