Firmware help

Hi
Just a blank white screen on the player.

I've tried downloading
ftp://mympxplayer:mympxplayer@218.97...5FAK1025%2Erar
but it comes up as a .bin file when i'm after a .fw file any ideas?

I've been through the sticky and cant find a good match when looking for firmware
Plate no: M618-v1 and name HAIYU
Screen: XY-1.8b-V1 also on the screen XY-1.8TBN-KMA
Control AK1025

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.s. using utilities 4.03 to upgrade

Hi Megastuds,

You should be able to still use the .bin the same way as the .fw.

What you can do is rename the ".bin" to a ".fw" instead and that should then let you use the file.

Still doesn't like .bin or changing to .FW
Say 'invalid firmware upgrade'
As it is compltely dead bar a white screen that I can switch on or off, is it an upgrade or full firmware that I need to fix?

There doesn't seem to be a match with my spec MP3. Any help would be appreciated.

hi megastuds, have you previously noted the firmware information from the player's menu? if so, can you send me these values. at least do you know if the firmware was, 9.0.50, 9,0.52, 9.1.50, 9.1.51, or 9.1.52? maybe i can help you since i have the same player with the same prob.

Hi

Using the firmware upgrade (4.03) tool it says on one part of the screen:

Device firmware info:
Device name: S1Mp3 Player
Product: Wilson Co ltd
Version 9.0.52

Then the other side of the screen says:
Upgraded firmware info:
Device name: 'Strange symbols'Mp3 Player
Product: Actions Zhuhai
Version 3.0.00

Any help would be appreciated.
