Default I think Ive just killed my daughters MP4 player please help


Can anyone help please tried to fill up daughters mp3 player from another one which must have corrupted the memory - tried to format it - no format button on player (shows one in instructions)- the player video bit and radio was still working-ran fix tool on it which found bad sectors-erased them-lost the lot-updated off the web-now computer sees it as drive F and G but just get white screen and sometimes faint buzzing noises. Please help she comes back soon from holiday and ill never get another one tin time

Hi there! Can you please take a picture of the front of the player and post here? Also, if you would remember the old version of it it would be great.

I have just recieved link to software from manufacturers www.tinydeal.com/catalog/software_download.php The firmware I need is ipg rockchip upgrade 0310.zip
At the moment the player just displays white screen and makes chattering noises when connected to usb Would be very greatfull if someone could explain the steps as I think Im doing it right but nothing seems to work

Try this,

1) Switch the player OFF using the main on/off switch.

2) Hold down the "MENU" button (the one is between keys VOLUME + -) and keep it held down.

3) Connect the usb to the player.

4) Wait for about 10 seconds before releasing the button.

5) You are now in "ROCK USB" upgrade mode!

6) Then just start ConsumerUpdate and upload your firmware.

When you use the consumer update tool what is supposed to happen when I enter the firmware in the top box and open The bottom box says checking firmware and then says finished a few seconds later but the player is still the same. Have I missed something ?
