Hi......need help with firmware please
 

i have bought a new pmp 4gb from china i had a problem downloading software problem.so i went on this site and downloaded the mp3_player program 5.09.i loaded the software finally,but still when i connect the device to the computer it still doesnt recognize it?do i need firmware,what is it that i do next?
