That´s the same chip of my dead fake Ipod Gen.3!!
I have been trying all the 9.1.52 firmwares I found and all the versions of MP3 Player Utilities but couln´t fix mine (see my posts).
I have one working with same fw but couldn´t extract it. I believe there is no a proper tool to deal with this fw and chipset :roll:

I hope I´m wrong.

Nice try...no good...I am about to give up... :evil:

My unit is exactly like yours and all I get now is a blue/black screen...
