Dead MP4. ATJ2093N ZX 923M-TLS V2.0 2007 03 27 ROHS

:cry: Hello, i hope, this forum get me to a sucsess upgrade to my dead mp4 Player.

My Problem is, that I try out a new firmware, but it goes bad. Now this player is shown on my PC as a Actions USB (HS) Winusb Device.

I try out several firmwares without any sucsess. The only thing I see, is a blue grey screen with a sandclock. My Player date are: Board ID: ZX 923M-TLS V2.0 2007 03 27 ROHS. The Chip is: ATJ 2093N. Memory is a 4GB Hynix Chip. I hope I can find out an answere here. When also this cry for help goes bad my player is even good for the trash. :cry:

Hey s1fw, thanks for your quick answer!! But tried this several times without luck. I opened it also with the tool s1res.exe to try out some other settings but nothing works. I think that my chip is broken. But all the way I am going on to try out a few more firmwares. But all the way I post it here either I give up and put the player in the trash or if I am sucsessfull!!

Fridolin,the firmware that s1fw gave you seems perfectly fits the board of your dead player.Is there a problem with the firmware when using it on upgrade tool?

it seems so, but it didn`t work! The only thing I see is the start screen dark blue grey with the sandclock in the middle. But I try out annother fw with the player and now I have a white display and after connect to the pc I have a new cd player and a flash drive with a size of 1.9 GB. Funny or??. That all say to me, that the chip is o.k. and only the firmware isn`t the right one. But I try on. After all I use the latest update tool MP3Utilities 5.09. Because in this tool there is the only working driver for the players usb device called: Actions USB2.0 (HS) Winusb Device. I am searchin`on. Thanks for writing me!!

Hi, s1fw, isn`t that the firmware you already postet to me?? I tried this out with several MP3 Utilities. Every time with the post of sucsess. But it dosn´t work for my player. I am going to nirwana an throw my player right into hell and buy a new one. I think now that the chip is broken. Thanks a lot to the members who want to help me but at least nothing helps. Ok, so long and as I always said, good luck to recover worst made dead players from china.

Hey anyone here!! I MADE IT RUnNING!!!!. I took the last posted fw and I used MP3 Player Product Tools 5.15 to flash it and not the MP3Utilities 5.15. That was it. What a trip, but at least I can say that the time I spend on it was not for waste!!. Thanks a lot to this forum for givin´ideas for my way to recover a completely dead Player. Good buy from Germany / Harz
