I want the proper updated firmware to be uploaded back to this device so it works correctly as when you go over 2GB files corrupt and dont work and also take the p**s to delete.

One thing about this device i have found and that it is reliable, and works all the time apart from the hacked capacity.

Which firmware would i require to fix this issue?

Also can i put iPODLinux on this device or some other firmware so it can play .mp4 and not .amv, converting my mp4`s is a real hastle.

Thanks for any advice here.

I did not do it. I bought it off Ebay from Hong Kong and i thought it was a 4GB.

It registers the full 4GB as well, and you can transfer 4GB to it, but the files become corrupt after about 1.2GB.

Works perfect, but i want it to be right and only let me transfer what is actually available.

A new firmware would be better.

I have a dump of the current one as well but i could not find where to upload it on this site so everyone can have it, and maybe fix it.
