Extracting 9.x.x firmware

I have 9.1.52 firmware, and have had an IM from someone who needs it. I gather the main tool for extracting firmware cannot be used on this player, and the alternative is described as "buggy".

What I am interested in is whether I can extract the firmware without risk to my player. Is the "bugginess" of of a type that makes this uncertain?

My firmware info is:

BKSD91N12_32
2007-11-01
9.1.52
2005-01-09

I have not risked opening the player, and the only identification on the outside is www.tpsimmtron.com

i too have the problem in extracting the firmware.I tried the S1clone and it took almost two hours to extract the firmware from the player but when it is extracted it is of 555mb ............ and i dont know what to do to this firmware becasue it is too big in size that no mp3 utility accept that firmware to write on another player.........so tell me after extracting the frimware what next to do to make in run on another player.

Nfaifa I also have the same player from TPSIMMTRON, If you can extract the firmware can you kindly send it to me, Because my player is no longer working. Thank you very much.
