s1fw:
The firmware is not revealing
1) eBook Reader
2) Games
3) Contacts or AddressBook
I've opened the firmware with s1res and can see the images for these screens, however, I need help getting them to show on my player.
Thanks!

tambien necesito un firmware

holaa tengo un mp4 parecido al de la foto. Ipod generico, pero de 1,5 pulgadas y 2 Gb del que no he podido encontrar el firmware adecuado ya le he probado varios.
Los Chips son los siguientes:

AK 1025
7C????AA ???

dezigntek,
I have the same MP3 player as yours. but it has Firmware Ver. 9.1.52. Do still need it?...I will try to find out how to extract the firmware from it.

Re: Looking for firmware AK1025 7C039AA 04I TCH B828 V6

Hi all!
I have the same player of dezigntek, but the numbers on ribbon cable going to screen are different! This is the summary of my player:

---

CPU:
AK1025
7E004AB 05U

FLASH:
SAMSUNG 637
K9LAG08U0M
PCB0

Mainboard:
TCH B828 V6 -or maybe it's- B828 V6 TCH

Numbers on ribbon cable going to screen:
JCT011B
07.06.18

No numbers on screen!

---

At power-on the player show a white screen, it's viewable on explorer and formatted (2GB FAT).
Following the Dead Player recovery Guide, I have downloaded the firmware posted by s1fw and the Product Tool Firmware Upgrade 4.19, then I followed these steps:

1) Short the pins on flash memory
2) Connect the player to USB, in "Hardware manager" it shows "USB 2.0 (HS) ADFU Device", VID_10D6&PID_FF66
3) Start the Product Tool Firmware Upgrade, then produce the USB port list. After this it found 1 (one) ADFU device and the circle is blue
4) Click on "Import Firmware" and select the firmware downloaded, it shows these informations:

Device name: S1 MP3 Player
Productor: Wilson Co. Ltd.
Vender ID: 10D6
Product ID: 1101 (it changes the product id???)
Version: 9.0.50

5) Click on "Replace", then "Yes"
6) Click on "Download", after about 10 seconds the circle becomes green
7) Close the program, disconnect then reconnect the player to USB

After all this the player is recognized in explorer as 2GB USB flash disk... but the screen still white!!! :(
Are these steps correct? Can be the firmware incorrect because the screen ribbon cable is different?

Thanks in advance

P.S. = In the Dead Player recovery Guide, tadad1 says about a "dump.bin" file: I don't have this file... but it should be already contained into the full firmware, right?

I'm trying to fix my dad's mp4 player, but I can't get the download link listed above to work.

The http://www.s1fw.com/Actions-AK102X/A...L-LW1027B.html link takes me to
http://www.s1fw.com/plus/download.ph...&aid=843&cid=3
which has a download link that is redirected to a page in Chinese(?) .

Anyone have any other sources??
