Looking for Firmware of a 4GB, 1,8" MP3 Player
Hi,
that is the data i could get from the board: Processor: ATJ2093H Storage: Samsung, K9G4G08U0A, should be a 4GB Display: - on the pcb board: LS305V2 - I removed the screen from the PCB, but i cant find anything useful there - produced on 2007-04-01 - N012816OCNFG1 On the back of the player: Digital Media Player YGY401022 The main problem is, that i cant get the full 4gb, it only shows 420mg in Windows Explorer since i did a format, and the setup is in chinese (i already tried a firmware, since this thime i have chinese language). I added a image of the player on imagshack: http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/6...4playeruk5.jpg Regards Kalle |

Hacked?? could you describe that a bit more :D, and how could i solve that problem.
Atleast you have 2gb. I got this player from a friend who formatted it, he gave it to me and said - good luck. So, as i understand you, there is only 420 mb soldered, but 4gb is printed on the ic??? |

Re: Looking for Firmware of a 4GB, 1,8" MP3 Player
open it and look the memory chip number and search with google
mine is supposed a 4 gig they put a label 4 gig on the case but the chip is a 2 gig hynix and they hack the memory for it recognize 4 gig but if your not reformat...if you put more than 2 gig the player tell that you have a memory error or full |
