I suspect that the firmware from the t938s board might be compatible too.
This is an ipod nano 3rd gen clone.
i am looking for a firmware or a flash dump.
so far i only found one that knew how to turn on the backlight, and work as mass storage.

i had a hunch, and measured out the Chip Select line of the LCD screen. It looks like it is Not connected to one of the CE[1..3]# lines. It is instead connected to GPIOA0. I think this is why none of the firmwares produced any useable results - because most screens are connected to the CE3 line.

I am wondering what is the best option for me - connect the lcd to the CE3 line? [risky, i don't have very good smd soldering skills yet] or arm myself with IDA, and a hex editor? [i'm not sure in how many places i'm going to have to change the chip selection...
