Use rkusb.tag for the above 2 firmwares

Thank you knob. I've tried all the firmwares but they did not work. At least they turned on the screen but it is all white. Now, I know that it is not physically damaged. Only the firmware (the most important part) is lost. :-(

this is a link to a firmware from the same company in china that also makes a version of the player you have

now it may be that that they uses similar hardware??? as they may have come from the same original factory

worth a try

also, have you emailed CDRking and asked them to try and extract a copy themselves and send to you, they seem hot on having downloads available

quite a few bits on this web site, and i thin also knob, maybe a newer firmware for your player, they call it the k818, there is a download at the top of the page

edit .. forget that knob, theirs seems to be an ingenics based version of this player!!!!

this player can be found on dealextreme for about $40, its ingenics based and that chinese firm seem to have a download for firmware for it, just thought you may like to know as a cheap route into ingenics players
