Looking for firmware bksd2512_32 2008-04-26 9.1.52

Hello Everyone, I bought a brand new player from ebay. The player did work perfectly except the voice recorder. So I gave the player to a near by shop to fix it and they have tried to upgrade the firmware. However they have failed to it, and now the player is dead. I can only see a white screen, but when I plug it into my pc I can copy and delete files to the drive of the player. Looks like they have put a wrong a firmware.

Can someone please let me know a place where I can download the firmware for this player.

Thats my player. This is the information I have got so far -

bksd2512_32
2008-04-26
9.1.52

And on the back plate - WWW.TPSIMMTRON.COM

Please someone help. Thanks a lot in advance.

Have a look at www.s1fw.com to see if you can find a compatible firmware.

Did they charge you for the service?
I think that shop should be responsible for getting your player back or giving you some sort of credit because it was THEM who made your player dead by flashing it with an incompatible firmware. I certainly hope you didn't have to pay for the service! You've lost money and a player out of the ordeal!

Yes they did charge a fee of Rs.800 (Which is nearly $8) and they told that they need about 3 days to repair it. After 3 days they gave me the dead player and the money.
