Mobiblu T10f firmware disaster

After folowing all the excellent advice on this website I managed to get my video/audio out of sync problems solved using viDrop with the right settings, then I tried stupidly to upgrade my firmware and now my player is f******.

I got the upgrade off the mobiblu website with the link I found on this website. It seemed to upgrade ok, but the player now has a bluish background with Korean or Chinese writing, and the red light on the side of the player is permanently displayed. The screen responds to nothing except hitting the note button on the side at which point it briefly enters the paint program before displaying the "Goodbye" shutdown screen and freezing up. WTF?

Entirely my fault, I shouldn't have messed with it, but if anyone can help I'll be seriously grateful.

An update on this one; I discovered I can use the touchscreen if i am pushing on an icon and then use the lock/power buttone to double click it. Very weird. From there i could access settings and put it into English. If i put it into note pad it still powers off and freezes. Please, please can someone help me get it back the way i bought it?
