Dead player. Looking for right firmware action ak1011

Hey guys great site here,

recently got my wife a mp4 player from china and
to my total shock it died during a file upload :lol:
I followed the dead player guide (wich was excelent btw)
i have now got rid of the hourglass and it is in a repair state
ive tried 6 or 7 firmwares from this site but none of them fixed it :cry:
I used chip genius and it tells me its an action ak1011 chip i cant see any
firmware on here for it so i went to http://www.s1fw.com/ who seem
to have the firmware when i search for it but when i try to download it
i just go round in circles on the site with no joy :cry:
does anybody have this firmware or could they get it from s1fw
and upload it here?
I would really appreciate any help.

Can you send me the URL for the firmware you are trying to download from s1fw.com please? I see if I can download it for you.

You may want to open up your player and look for the plate and board ID numbers and post them here. That will also help in trying to find a suitable firmware for your player.

i cant see a number on the board but on the long chip it says

ok a little update here it is in fact
an ak1025 chip not ak1011 that chip genius reports
there is no plate number anywhere i can find on the board
(both sides i completely dismantled it).
the screen number is fpc888101c-v0.0
and it looks like this
