Need Firmware for my MP4 Player (RK2608A)
 

Dear Forum,
I´m new here and have already a Problem.
Last week i have bought me a MP4 Player from Intertoys in Germany ......It was a nice Price (49,99€)...now i have save a wrong Firmware on this Player and it didn´t work more...I cant flash with another Firmware the PC didn´t recognize the Player


Where can I find the original firmware (or get) to whom do I contact?
Can somebody Upload the Firmware? The big problem is, the pc didnt recognize the PLayer....

Did the main menu look like this?:-

Then try this one, it's worked for other members:-

remember to remove any non-recognised chinese characters from the filename or it wont load into consumerUpdate and you will get firmware file error.

No, sorry, no more firmwares, you were very lucky to recover your player! :-)

But now I have the Problem...If I Charge my MP4 Player after 1-3 Minutes it say, FULL. Then when I play music or other it show me that is empty...

What can I do?

Nice to read you where lucky to get your player working again.
I have also a similar MP4 player. I would like to change the theme as I did with a acu7515 chip set. Two questions:
- Is there a good theme editor for the rockchip 2608a?
- Is there still not a firmware dumper for the rockchip 2608a?

Tried the firmware but now it starts up with keys locked can not update any more any suggestions? Or other firmware that could work.
