no problem i figured i would register just to post that file because it took me weeks to actually get this thing running again and i know alot of other people will run into the same problem. The file i posted has 2 firmwares in it, i only tried one.

WOW WOW thx ! my MP4 player crashed with corrupted firmware - downloaded your rar stuff, u must have spent ages gettin all this 2 work ^^ - took me a while to get the product tool 3121 to find the player - I had to install the USB driver you kindly included and then persuade windows to stop interrupting the transfer - but in the end updated and now working again ! )
