Lisong 1,8 Ipodstyle Reduction of memory

Hi friend, my problem is that when i format this Mp4 Player (8GB) with MACOSX in HFS and after in NTFS on windows the memory was transformed into 1Gb memory. I try to catch information with ChipGenius and the results is

Standard USB device USB2.0

Chip Vendor: Actions
Chip part-number: ATJ209X/ACU75XX

and the other info were N/A

the player is able and show that the firmware is 9.1.52

I want only to transformate the memory in a 8Gb. I'm sure that this Player is a fake but the proprietay (a friends) is boring me to fix it. Please help me. It's possibile that if i update the firmware it will be transformed automatically?
