Hi, I havent received mine yet cos my girlfriend still need to bring it however i know that it is NOT touchscreen. My girlfriend had no problems turning it on so i assume there is a simple on/off button. THe only problem is that the default language is chinese. To turn it in english do the following: use the Top and Middle set of buttons to scroll through the folders on screen till you find the folder with the Sprocket Wheel icon, this is the settings folder Click on the red M button to enter setup, use the arrow buttons on the Top and Middle set of buttons to select the second from the bottom option,.Press the M button again ,scroll up or down until you find the English Language option and click the M button again to set the default language to English.

Hope this helps.

To access the player while it has the ZZZ, you need to do the safely disconnect usb thing but keep the usb cable connected. You can then access the player while it still charges.

I also purchased one of these from a Hong Kong/Ebay seller. I am only interested in the music storage and playback functions. It is, as advertised, 30 plus GB. I could not get it to work until I reformated the drive, during which time i saved the files that came with it on my HD and later restored them. Since then I have loaded music by drag and drop and am listening to it now. It actually sounds pretty good, and for $33.00 I think it may be a bargain. However I find the controls very confusing. Any suggestions?

I have the rizone just arrive, and after googling I found out a few bad things. There are currently 147 ebay sellers out there selling these mp4 player, all are HACKED, meaning they are actually on 4gb not 32gb in size, try putting more than 3.5gb of data onto it and you'll notice read errors, can not delete file when the filesize says 0 bytes

button functions of the Rizone Player

The Play/Enter/Pause button is switched with the M menu/function button. Other than that the buttons should be fairly self explanatory.

The slide switch on the bottom is the power button.
The circular arrow button on far top left is the undo or go back to last screen button.
The second top left button is the rewind button for songs and videos or left/up navigation button for the system/file menu.
The top middle left button is the forward button for songs and videos or right/down navigation button for the system/file menu
The top middle right button is the play button not the M(menu/function) button for songs and videos, or the enter button for system and file menus.
The top second from right button is the volume menu option button then use left and right buttons to change volume.
The top far right button is menu/function button not the play/enter/pause button that brings up system menus such as delete file dialogue in the file manager. As well as helps to navigate the in player text writer function for adding your name to the player in the system management area.

another Rizone blog on this site states that to save your settings when you turn off the player to first hold the play button which is the M button for a few seconds and then shut off the machine otherwise settings will revert to factory setting each time you turn the unit off.
