When did the problem started happening? Just recently or since you've had the player?
Have you tried formatting your player to see if that helps? Sometimes bad blocks in the memory or memory hacks will cause errors and I suspect that during playback, it may be accessing that bad error of the memory so hence producing the error message. Try a normal Windows format and let us know how you get on.

Is it only happening for a MIC file? Or does it happen with other files too?

Try also do a CHECKDISK on your drive from Windows Explorer and make it repair on any errors or mark them as 'bad' if it finds errors. Could possibly be a bad memory block in your player's memory instead that's causing it.

What you can also try doing is deleting everything and start putting 4-5 files on there and see if they play, and add more and more as you go until it errors it. Or does it error on the first file as well?

I've tried error checking with no results, everything is fine. ive tried removing all files and adding 1 when i get the error message... and it does it with both MIC and MP3 files. so i dont know what else to check.
