Ok Guys'
I'm not a novice but this thing has me working overtime!
I have been using the unit for 4-5 months and decided to play!
formatted the thing by mistake. I found the repair tool-RK27DM
(Unit would'nt turn on after format)loaded drivers to see the unit fine,
Installed what I thought was my unit firmware RK27SDK,
But it must be a later version with touch screen, Mine is not touch screen.
I think mine is v1.1 and I cannot remove hidden partion on 8gb / Cannot find it?
I formatted the drive but only the 761mb was wiped?
when I started I saw both partions, but after installing Wrong firmware cannot get into hidden partion
HELP PLEASE

This is getting a bit much, i thought someone would pop up and say here's the answer, but looks like most of the posts
get ignored! does anyone get help ?? I need it badly.
I have a chinese mp5 with firmware formatted! I found a version of RK27SDK and it got the unit switched on But!
The firmware is for touch screen model that looks the same as mine.I do not have touch screen.
So formatted all again. This time cannot get unit to switch on!The unit here attached. Shenzhen Sinykon Technology CO.,LTD
I need someone to show me how to install the right firmware / I can see both Partitions but no joy getting it switched on.

Sorry we are a bit short of helpers at the moment and we are only spare time / part timers

I think it will be worth trying the recovery tool again, Does your player have a reset hole on the side, try sticking a paper clip end in if it has it should reboot.

As an absolute last resort I have had to open my player up and do a hard reset. here is what I did:- Did anyboby buy this PMP from Tinydeal?

Have a possible firmware ready. if you have no backup there is a firmware for a player looking like yours here:- Home in the Rockchip section.
No guarantees but these usually can be recovered with persistance, but be careful not to break your player!

I have the thing lighting up , now all I need is correct firmware, the picture of Sinykon is the correct software anyone have this piece of c****p
so I can use firmeware please? (Back light is on with wrong version installed)

I can try it and let you know, Thanks.The Case has a reset ! looking at the pic. My unit has no reset button anywhere.

Oh my god it works but its upside down? and the buttons do not operate ? But software looks the same!
