new fake ipod firmware question
 

mrkodak@bellsouth.netI just recently bought a new 8GB MP$ chinese made fake ipod on ebay and I have had allot of problems while trying to oad music onto the flash drive. For some reason, when it gets past the point of only having 4GB on the player itself it begins to corrupt the files itself making the music unable to play at all. I have reformatted the unit 5 times in the last 2 days and finally after re-syncing it to my music on the Windows Media Player 11 library of my computer it works. However, I would like to add a few more cd's to it but I am afraid it will corrupt the files again and I will then need to start over again from scratch. Is this a firmware problem? I am using firmware version QS_AK 2025 9.5.54 2008/04/23 - 2008/09/05 I have located and downloaded several versions of firmware but I am afraid to use any of them since I don't know which one is most compatible to use with my new player. How can I find the model number of this player? The owners manual tells me nothing and neither does the unit setup menu either when I check the firmware version that is currently on the player.

The type of chip in my fake ipod is a samsung 925 k9GAG8U00 PC80. I cannot seem to find this firmware update anywhere online.
