HI guys I'm new from this forum. I'm searching a good firmware for my new mp5 player. It is a RK27SDK 080722, major version 2.2. Do you know where can I find that?

If is it, when you have buyed the player?

You could update your firmware, but first you must check the version, try method in my post to show the hidden partition and see if the files BASE.RKW in folders SYSTEM and SYSTEM00 are updated after 13 october 2008, if yes, you have the more update firmware that you can find in internet.
If the files BASE.RKW in folders SYSTEM and SYSTEM00 are older then 13 october 2008, you can download the more update firmware here: Download

I've buy the playe last week and the files are been modified the 29th of december 2008 mine is it newer than your? Is it possible to develop application for this player? But in the player if I go in settings-> system information there is write:
Product name: RK27SDK
Major version: 2.2
Hardware type: 080722
But the photo of your post is the same as my player... Is it the same player?

When you turn on the player you have exactly the same screen like in the photo (after welcome message that can be different)

I have these informations:
Product name: RK27SDK
Major version: 1.2
Hardware type: 080422
Seems that they are differents, hardware type is different.
However can you post your firmware on mympx.org please?

sure but I will post my firmware after I've modified it with I-phone style icons . But in my firmware in my opinion there is a problem... in fact the volume of the singer in all songs is too low! The instruments and the base of the song is perfect but the singer volume is very low!! do you know why? Is it possible to modify my new firmware with your firmware only in the part that regards music player?

Could depend from equalizer, try another equalizer profile...
I don't know how modify the firmware sorry.
