2 Attachment(s)
hey ;)
before u test a new firm, backup ur hidden ak3631L / 2.8" anyka player firmware .. and share
"+" = ">>"
its easy, player off, press "+" button and hold, usb plug in, leave "+" hold ..
or: hold "+" and switch on the pmp, shows like freeze, now usb plug in ..
now u have 3 new partitions .. save all files on pc folder and unplug usb, then reset the pmp.

tested with xp-pro and tv1f568-v3.1 / 2gb pmp.

all files original from following 2.8" touchscreen pmp model.
to restore u need burntool from anyka. (look at next postings)

softwareinfo:
tv568 mlc v3.0.4.0
tv1f568_v2.0

hardwarecheck:
pcb: tv1f568-v3.1 / 18.02.2009

Good work!

I feel stupid for not having found it myself - once I found the "M" button maintenance mode I didn't think to try the other buttons!

I have 3.0.4.0 as well - I have found older versions of the software but nothing newer

the easiest things are the hardest thinking

--------------------------------

AkResData.bin
DynamicFont4_16.bin
LangCodepage.bin

TV1F568.bin << Most Interesting, its a bit code changes in player series ! but the same file name !
check out and share .. i have tested this firmfile on my second player .. will run, but not touchscreen / button function .. both players from one ebay seller, but u can see a changed hardware series.
all other tested TV1F568.bin files without playerstart after flashing.
the rest of bin files (akres, font, lang) are not so important.

i think we need a good coder workshop to understand this little file (bit) changes. :D

hi
I am in the brasil
I also have a player of those:

sofware:
tv568mlc v3.0.3.8
tv1f568 v2.0

harware:
PCB: tv 1f568 v2.1 - 2008/10/13
cam: xhb 7676dn
ak 3631L014402 fso7e8
samsung 846/ K9GAG08U0M/ PCB0/ FCJ235BAC

and I didn't manage to do the way backup that you teaching

for my model other way does exist of extracting the firmware?

I hope he/she understands that translation.. kkkkkkkkkkkk

good-bye

nane 18th Oct 2009 12:29 pm

try it again ..
you have the same player design ?

hold "+" and switch on the player at the same time (both buttons) !
if the player starts (welcome picture or so), leave both buttons ..
the player will freeze now on starting picture, no button will work.
connect usb from player to pc .. if first session, windows will ask you about driver.
.. now you can see 3 new drives/partitions on your workspace.
after save/backup this drives, disconnect usb line and make player reset (pinhole)

on next start the player works as before, but you have a secure backup on pc :)

Mypmp 18th Oct 2009 3:23 pm

the difference between my player and yours is little.

I did like you said:
I pressed the button "+" and at the same time I pushed the switch for "on", after that he/she usually appears the screen of welcomes written "X-sound! " (I think it is on that hour that the screen should freeze) but the player usually begins and later he/she appears the screen of connection usb... no this giving right.........

will it be that the player needs to be formatted? mine this filled of music

bye

<<<<Yfrog - pmpgm (image player)

nane 19th Oct 2009 5:42 am

none functions .. i dont know why with you not.
I expect in some days meet 2 new players and will test immediately on backup.

what happens then if you the middle button holds and at the same time usb connects?
of course must be switched off your player first.

nane 22nd Oct 2009 5:16 am

if you have a samsung nand flash in your player, you can check the memorysize with the chipcode (open ur player) ..

SAMSUNG Semiconductor - Products - Flash - NAND Flash

example: 16gbit x8 = 16/8 = 2 gbyte with chipcode k9gag08u0m-pcb0 (only one flash chip)

tulius 22nd Oct 2009 7:42 am

Well, mine I guess it's: HYNIX or MITSUBISHI.
How can I identify that?
Chip says: ANYKA ak3631LQ14402 FS06H9

Please help!

vladhed 22nd Oct 2009 8:00 am

ANYKA is the processor Both Hynix and Mits make NAND flash chips - google the part number to find out the size.

This is the HYNIX memory: H27UAG8T2MTR-BC
And this is the Mitsubishi memory: M2V28S40TP

vladhed 22nd Oct 2009 11:16 am

Let me google that for you

your hynix nand flash has the same memsize as my samsung = 16 gbit 8x = 16/8 = 2 gbyte
look at the blue signs = AG = 16gbit (same as my samsung)
the red sign = 8 = x8 (same as my samsung)
hynix: H27UAG8T2MTR-BC
samsung: k9gag08u0m / pcb0

M2V28S40TP = dram, not nand flash store memory

wait few days, i will prog a little php product code script for hynix/samsung nand flash (only for memsize) ..

Wow! That sounds great! At least we would use them with the real capacity and add them a 2gb mini sd.
Have you noticed that? Don't use SD or MICRO, USES MINI SD!!!

nane 23rd Oct 2009 10:37 am

check ur nandsize with my little webtool, all hynix and samsung nandflash
with K9, H27 and HY27 prefix supportet. .. without grant, but its good for first hacked mem check.

@tulius
not all pmp, but many can manage 4gb mini-sd

thx,
with my postet download for anyka players u can format to real size,
burntool checks also the chip and format with real size.
u must save all ur hidden player partitions before, or u have a dead one.

ever its a risk to do hardcore format with burntool !

my second player was sell as 8gb, but its only 2gb .. i dont cry, have catch this one for tips ;)
buy this pmp's for less than 20 dollars all incl.
look for 2gb players, the best chance for real nand flash.

Hello, the touh screen goes white and win recognizes it as M3CHIPUSB but I can not find any disk in my computer to copy the firmware files.
Any idea?
Thanks

nane 27th Oct 2009 5:55 am

today i got the first from two new 2.8 touchscreen pmp with 2 gig samsung flash
mhhhhh its a joke from the seller :p
on case a sticker with 8 gig model, in player softcheck also 8 gig .. its a gift from seller ?
noooooooooooo !! i think he knows about his fake mem players ..
so i open the player and check the flash chip with product code .. nothing samsung, its a hynix.
the size its only 2 gig .. whats going on ? lol

soft version its:
tv568 mlc v3.0.4.1
tv1f568_v2.0

i also have tested a backup, ("+" and on) goes nothing with version tv568 mlc v3.0.4.1
so i will try other ways for backup ..

vladhed 29th Oct 2009 5:51 am

v3.0.4.1!! can you upload the contents of your hidden partition somewhere? I want to try to upgrade to it.

I discovered an annoying bug yesterday - if you press and hold + (>>) while a song is playing it skips ahead okay, but if you don't let go of the button before the end of the song it won't play anything anymore - you can switch tracks, even skip ahead but pressing > or || doesn't do anything - it just sits there at the same spot in the song.

cheers!

are you sure .. you have only one flash nand chip K9GAG08UDD inside ?
if you have 2 nand flash chips = 2*2gb = 4gb
store makes no problems, but work with data over nand size are crashing or like error msg.

bartolo 16th Nov 2009 12:42 am

hallo
yes i am shure.
i opened the device and had a look for the chips:there is 1 flash K9GAG08UDD inside!

similar mp3 player

Hello,
I have a similar player with ak3631LQ4402 FS04F9 CPU and a Mitsubishi M2V28S40ATP memory chip probobly 2G (fake 32GB). I got the information Software: Spring MLC V3.0.3, Hardware: Magic V2 as the player was working.
It stops at welcome screen. PC does not recognized the palyer when usb is connected. All attempts to extract the firmware or up- down-date the firmware using anyka burn tool failed. Did anyone find a way to fix the Problem?
BurnTool recognizes the player and wants to "update" but it stops with the message "Fail to set nand chip parameter". The Memory chip is not in the supported nand list. probably this is the reasen. Does anyone know how find the nand chip parameter and edit them?

Bye

I opened my player again and saw that I was wrong about the meomory chip. It is a hynix H27UAG8T2MTR (BC 931H). This chip is also not in the spported nand list. Does anyone know how to get an update for burntool or the supported nandlist.

Help?

Hi everyone. I have this MP4 player, but can't seem to get it into upgrade mode. Now mine has 8gb memory and 3.0" screen, not 2.8" and has no camera, but has the same chip numbers. The manual is very poorly translated, but I think it says to hold M and + and turn the device on. Nothing listed here worked, just brought me to my main menu, no extra partition.

The closest I got was when I held M, turned the device on, then pressed and held + as well. This brought me to a blank white screen, but when I plugged the device in with USB, it could not be recognized.

Any thoughts?

hi! I also got a player with the firmware v.3.0.4.1. The described backup procedure does not work. Have you found any other way to backup? Is it safe to format the built-in flash? I found that it has 2GB actual size while 16 GB was declared.

Does anybody know a tool like partition magic that can work with USB attached memory?

jaime42 29th Jun 2010 1:12 pm

I purchased the 32GB 2.8" Touch Screen USB MP3 MP4 Player 32G FM Camera (320546150077). It worked fine after fully charging. Once we loaded songs onto the player the touchscreen stopped working. You can use the manual buttons, but you cannot manipulate files etc... Please help?
Blessings,
Jaime
