Default Qs_ak2025 9.5.54 2008/09/05 2008/04/23

I am looking for the firmware listed above. My player is new and I it died within a day after I received it from a vendor I bought it from on ebay. I have already performed the dead player recovery procedure but I don't have a backup firmware dump file. Please post a website url where I can find this firmware I need.

Thank you

Ted

Default WANTED: backup copy of 9.5.54

Mine is an 8 GB(?) Chipod with 9.5.54 firmware I bought just before Christmas from a vendor on Ebay and it crashed within 2 hrs out of the box. I sent it back and got another one, but I'm scared it will crash too. It appears to be a 4th Gen Nano knockoff with the oval cross section body. This replacement unit has also begun to act strangely. It began to duplicate song entries and would not let me delete them. Then it would display "Format Error" when I tryed to play any new songs that I loaded. So I bit the bullet and decided to do a complete FAT32 format from an old desktop computer running XP Pro and USB 1.0 ports. To my total suprise, it completely corrected every problem! Who knows for how long it will stay fixed! As of right now it has 103 songs and 5 AMV videos on it (all playing perfectly). If ANYBODY can find a good copy of this firmwre, or can figure out how to extract it PLEASE upload it to the downloads page. This is extremely unstable firmware.
THNX!
