Need Firmware for generic 2.8in touch MP4

As the title says,I need new firmware for it.
In the settings menu there's a button for "update firmware" but when I press it and plug it in to my PC windows device installer comes up and searches for the drivers but can't find any so I need firmware and a program that will install it,Here's a picture of the exact one.

I also checked in the settings tab under about and it says:
VER: 00.00.0000
Date: 2009-01-09
And that's all it says I have no information on this brand or anything.

You have a Rockchip-based player.
Try to find the firmware for the player with the similar appearance and main menu, and then install it to your player.

How to check the generation of your Rockchip:
try to make a firmware backup using a .tag file
(follow the instructions from this forum)
if this procedure will be successful,
then you'll have a firmware backup :) and your chip's generation is RK27xx;
else the generation is RK26xx (because it's still impossible
to make a backup from RK26xx-based player)

I opened it and the chip says "ROCKCHIP" RK2608A and I can't make a back up so do you think it's safe to update the firmware? and If I were to update it what program would I use? BTW thanks for all the help so far.
